K’taka COVID-19 update: 810 new cases, 743 discharges, 8 deaths on Jan 2

Bengaluru: On January 2, 810 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 743 recoveries and 8 deaths.

The State’s tally now stands at 9,21,938 total cases and 12,107 total deaths reported till date.

Presently, there are 10,893 active cases in the State out of which 186 are admitted in Intensive Care Units.

Bengaluru Urban district again recorded the highest number of cases on the same day – 464.

All the other district reported less than 50 cases.
