K’taka COVID-19 update: 8324 new cases; 8110 discharges; 115 deaths

Bengaluru: On August 28, 8,324 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the State along with 8,110 discharges of recovered people and 115 deaths from the virus.

The total tally of the State presently is 3,27,076 cases with 5,483 deaths.

Active cases in the State stands at 86,446 with 721 of them undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.

Districts that reported high incidences of COVID-19 are Bengaluru Urban 2,993, Ballari 468, Shivamogga 333, Hassana 325, Davanagere 319, Mysuru 309, Dharwad 290, Dakshina Kannada 272, Belagavi 276, Koppala 238, Mandya 194, Raichuru 186, Bengaluru Rural 182, Gadag 181, Kalaburagi 173, Udupi 172, Ramanagara 153, Uttara Kannada and Vijayapura 130, Chikkamagaluru 129, Chikkaballapura 102 and Chitradurga 100.
