K’taka COVID-19 update: 9280 new cases; 6161 discharges; 116 deaths on Sep 3

Bengaluru: 9,280 new cases of COVID-19 was reported from across the State on Thursday, September 3.

Additionally, 6,161 people who recovered from the virus were discharged from hospitals and 116 succumbed to the virus on the same day in the State.

The total COVID-19 cases reported in the State till date stands at 3,79,486 out of which 99,101 are active and 785 among them ar admitted in Intensive Care Units.

The death toll in the State from the virus is 6,170.

Districts that reported high incidneces of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 2,963, Mysuru 776, Ballari 447, Dakshina Kannada 428, Tumakuru 424, Shivamogga 350, Hassana 340, Dharwad 297, Belagavi 278, Davanagere 263, Kalaburagi 226, Chikkamagaluru 223, Udupi 187, Uttara Kannada 178, Raichuru 169, Mandya 168, Koppala 154 and Haveri 149.
