K’taka COVID-19 update: 9540 new cases; 6860 discharges; 128 deaths on Sep 8

Bengaluru: On September 8, 9,540 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded from across the State.

On the same day, 6,860 discharges of people who recovered from the virus and 128 deaths due to the virus also occurred.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has risen to 4,21,730. Active cases count for 99,470.

The total deaths toll from the virus in the State now stands at 6,808.

High incidences of COVID-19 were reported from the districts of Bengaluru Urban 3,419, Ballari 559, Mysuru 500, Belagavi 390, Dakshina Kannada 310, Hassana 270, Uttara Kannada 260, Udupi 258, Davanagere 255, Tumakuru 242, Kalaburagi 241, Mandya 224, Bagalakote 219, Raichuru 214, Haveri 169 and Chikkaballapura 141.
