K’taka COVID-19 update: 973 new cases, 1217 discharges and 7 deaths on Dec 29

Bengaluru: On December 29, 973 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 1,217 recoveries and 7 virus-related deaths.

The total tallies in the State now stand at 9,18,544 reported cases and 12,081 total deaths till date.

Presently, 11,610 cases are active in the State out of which 202 are undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Units.

Bengaluru Urban district reported the highest number of cases, 554, on the same day. All other districts reported less than 40 cases.
