K’taka COVID-19 update: 998 new cases, 1601 discharges, 11 deaths on Dec 7

Bengaluru: On December 6, 998 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 1,601 recoveries and 11 COVID-19 deaths.
The State’s tally now stands at 8,94,004 total cases out of which 24,767 are presently active and 11,867 dead.
279 COVID-19 patients are presently undergoing treatment in intensive care units.
Bengaluru Urban district reported 501 COVID-19 cases, the highest in the district on the same day. All other districts reported less than 50 COVID-19 cases.
