K’taka COVID-19 update: 9993 new cases, 10228 discharges, 91 deaths on Oct 5

Bengaluru: 9,993 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State on October 5.

On the same day, 10,228 recoveries and 91 deaths also occurred.

Presently, there are 1,15,151 active cases in the State out of the total of 6,57,705 reported cases till date.

Districts that reported a high number of COVID-19 cases are Bengaluru Urban 5,012, Tumakuru 475, Mysuru 373, Chitradurga 332, Davanagere 279, Dakshina Kannada 272, Ballari 253, Shivamogga and Udupi 224.
