K’taka COVID-19 update on July 20: 3,648 new cases, 72 deaths and 730 recoveries

Bengaluru: A total of 3648 cases of Kovidi infection have been reported in the state during the last 24 hours, from Sunday, July 19 evening to Monday, July 20 evening.
730 COVID-19 patients recovered and 72 COVID-19 deaths occurred during the same period.
The number of COVID-19 cases has declined slightly in the Bengaluru Urban district, with 1,452 cases being detected in the same day.
Other districts with high incidences of COVID-19 cases include Bellary (234), Bengaluru Rural (208), Dharwad (200), Vijayapura (160), Mysuru (149), Kalaburagi (124), Udupi (98) and Dakshina Kannada (89).
With 72 new COVID-19 deaths, the total number of victims to this pandemic in the State has soared to 1,403.
A total of 67,420 COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the State so far. Of these, 23,795 have recovered and 42,216 cases are still active.
