K’taka govt issues guidelines for new weekend, night curfews

Bengaluru: The State government issued new guidelines for the night and weekend curfews imposed in the State from Friday.
As per the orders, night curfew will be operational from 9 pm to 5 am on all days and the weekend curfews will be from 9 pm on Fridays to 5 am on Mondays in all the border districts of the State.
All essential shops and services including groceries, meat shops, dairies, animal fodder shops and agriculture related activities will be permitted between 5 am to 2 pm every day.
Liquor shops and all types of eateries such and restaurants and hotels can be opened with only take away and home delivery services between 5 am to 2 pm.
Social, political, cultural, religious and sports activities and mass gatherings will be prohibited.
Marriages can have 100 people and cremations/funerals can have 20 people in attendance.
All places of worship can remain open but must strictly adhere to COVID-19 precautionary protocols.
