K’taka govt to increase salaries of on-contract physicians

Bengaluru: The government has increased the salaries of physicians working on contractual basis in government hospitals fulfilling their demands.

In an order the State government stated that physicians working in various government hospitals at hobli, taluka and district will receive Rs 15,000 increment.

With this, government-contracted physicians who were getting Rs 45,000 a month will now be paid Rs 60,000.
