K’taka HC directs VTU to consider online exam for final year engineering

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court has directed Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) to reconsider the possibility of online exams in addition to the offline examination for final year engineering students
The court noted that there is still a lot of time as the examination is scheduled to begin on September 15 and VTU can seek opinion from experts regarding technical requirements for conducting online examination.
The court was hearing a petition filed by final year students of Bangalore Institute of Technology
The hearing has been adjourned to September 25 and the court has directed the VTU to place its decision.
