Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court on Saturday dismissed a PIL seeking investigation against former chief minister BS Yediyurappa, his son BY Vijayendra and others for alleged corruption.
The petitioner TJ Abraham had earlier filed a private complaint with the Anti Corruption Bureau and later filed a petition in the HC when no actions were taken on his complaint.
The court stated the reason for the dismissal of the petition being the governor’s rejection of the request for granting sanction for a probe.
The court also stated that there is no FIR filed against the said people in the first place to even start an investigation.
