K’taka II PUC exams might be held online

Bengaluru: The department of Pre University Education is planning to hold II PUC exams online.
It is said that several stakeholders suggested the department to explore the possibilities of conducting online exams.
They also suggested to slash the exam duration to 90 minutes, conducting exams for major subjects only and sticking to Multiple choice questions.
However, none of these suggestions are finalised. But, one of the officials claimed that conducting online exams is not a huge task as in 2019, they had delivered question papers online during supplementary exams.
He further said that there is a software to check malpractice.
