K’taka polls: JDS release third list of candidates, announces support to candidates from other parties

Bengaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) announced changes in its list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka, in its third list released on Wednesday. The party also declared its support for 7 candidates from other political parties.
According to the new list, the party has made changes in 13 nominations for assembly constituencies across the state. Notably, Ayanur Manjunath has been fielded from Shivamogga City.
In Nanjangud, the party has decided to extend its support to Congress candidate Darshan Dhruvanarayana.
Apart from Nanjangud, the JD(S) has also announced its support for candidates from other political parties in six other constituencies. Gulbarga Rural, Bagepalli, and KR Puram have given their support to CPI(M) candidates, while CV Raman Nagar, Vijayanagar, and Mahadevapura have given their support to RPI candidates.
