K’taka PUC classes guidelines: 4 classes/day, attendance not compulsory

Bengaluru: The Department of Higher Education has issued its guidelines for the second year pre-university college classes to be started from January 1.

The guidelines state that no more than four classes/periods can be conducted per day can and attendance must not be made compulsory for the students.

“Conduct four classes daily, each of forty-five minutes duration. Classes must not have more than 15 students. The number of students can be arranged according to local needs and the area of ​​the room. The first and second PUC students can come to physical classes only with self and parental consent. Parental confirmation that children do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 is mandatory,” the guidelines read.
