K’taka reports 5,503 Covid-19 cases and 92 fatalities

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 5,503 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, July 29 with the state capital alone accounting for 2,270 of these cases. In the last 24 hours, 92 fatalities and 2397 discharges have been reported.

As on date, the total positive cases in the state has increased to 1,12,504 of which 42,901 have been discharged and 67,448 cases are active. The death toll in the state stands at 2,147,” the health department said in its bulletin.

As per state health bulletin Ballari reported 338 cases, Belagavi 279, Davangere 225, Dakshina Kannada 208, Mysuru 200, Dharwad 175, Udupi 173 and Kalaburagi 168.
