Mangaluru: The lifeless body of the 11-year-old girl, who had gone missing from her home in Kudroli on Sunday morning, was recovered from the Kulur river in the afternoon on October 24.
According to the sources close to the family, the victim, Mufeeda, daughter of Salam, resided at Hyderali road in Kudroli. She had an intellectual deficiency, sources added.
The CCTV footage from a nearby home showed the girl walking alone at around 8 AM on Sunday towards the river which was a couple of hundred meters away from the house she lived in.
