Kukke Subrahmanya Temple: Changes to Seva timings until December 12

Subrahmanya: The annual Champashashti Jatra Mahotsava of the Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple is scheduled to take place from November 27 to December 12. Due to this festival, one of the temple’s significant services, Sarpa Samskara, will not be conducted from November 25 to December 12. However, other regular services will continue as usual, according to a temple statement.
Certain services will remain suspended on specific festival days. On Laksha Deepotsava (November 30), Chouthi (December 5), Panchami (December 6), and Shashti (December 7), there will be no prayer services held during the night. Additionally, on Champashashti day, the midday prayer service will not be conducted, and services like Ashlesha Bali and Naga Pratishte will be unavailable.
The Panchamrita Mahabhisheka service will not be conducted on November 30, December 5, 6, 7, and 12. Also, the evening Ashlesha Bali service will remain suspended for the duration of the festival, from November 27 to December 12.
Restricted Darshan on November 26:
Due to the sacred Moola Mrithika Prasada collection ceremony held as part of the annual Champashashti Jatra Mahotsava, devotees will not have access to the deity’s darshan or services on November 26 from morning until 2 PM. Post 2 PM, darshan and selected services will be available, the temple authorities clarified.
