Bengaluru: Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra accused JDS supremo H D Kumaraswmany of blatantly lying about Santro Ravi controversy and stooping to a new low due to “political desperation”.

“HD Kumaraswamy, who was CM of the state, is blatantly lying that Santro Ravi had counted the money at my residence,” he said.

He also challenged Kumaraswamy to prove the allegations made. “Kumaraswamy should prove the allegation made against me,” Jnanendra said.

Further, he said “I have told the Police to investigate and inquire about the background of Santro Ravi…As the Home Minister, hundreds of people visit me daily. Not everyone’s background can be looked into.”
