Bengaluru: Neither B S Yeddyurappa nor H D Kumaraswamy will become the CM in the upcoming Assembly polls said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Addressing the media at Chikkaballapur on Friday CM Siddaramaiah criticized H D Kumaraswamy on his comment regarding the Yettinahole project meanwhile State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa was also lashed on failing to resolve the issue of Mahadayi dispute.
CM Siddaramaiah said, “It will be impossible for Kumaraswamy to scrap the Yettinahole project if he becomes chief minister. He refers to the project as a scam with political motives. The people of this region have to teach him a lesson”.
Talking on JD(S) National President Deve Gowda who had said that it is his desire to see Kumaraswamy as the next chief minister, Siddaramaiah alleged that “For him (Deve Gowda) family is more important than social justice,”
As for the Mahadayi dispute, “Yeddyurappa who had assured that he would resolve it by December 15, has failed. Now he is referring to me in the singular because he is desperate,” Siddaramaiah claimed.
