Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah and Kumaraswamy are allegedly having a cold war.
It has been reported that both the leaders came here to attend the 221st birth anniversay celebration and did not keep an eye contact.
Siddaramaiah, who arrived prior to Kumaraswamy, garlanded the statue of Sangolli Rayanna and addressed the gathering and hailed the contribution of revolutionary. At the same time, Kumaraswamy returned from Independence Day programme at Manik Shah Parade stadium and arrived to garland the statue of Sangolli Rayanna.
Since Siddaramaiah was giving speech, Kumaraswamy chose to remain inside his car for a while. Siddaramaiah, after his speech, waved at the gathering and left the venue. Seeing Kumaraswamy, the organisers of the programme, requested to stay back, but Siddaramaiah refused and left the venue.
After Siddaramaiah’s exit, Kumaraswamy garlanded the statue of Sangolli Rayanna.
