Kumbh Mela 2021: Kumbh limited to 30 days this year, to be held from Apr 1 to 30

Uttarakhand: The Uttarakhand government has decided to limit the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar this year to 30 days due to the ongoing pandemic

This year Kumbh will be held from April 1 to 30. Meanwhile, pilgrims this year will be issued passes after submission of negative RT-PCR test report and identification proof.

Also, Chief Secretary Omprakash said that no special trains or additional buses will run during Mahakumbh. Therefore, trains would be arranged only to take the passengers out of the Mahakumbh area. It will be mandatory to get permission from the Uttarakhand government to install any bus.
