Kumble bike accident: Teeager from B’luru dead

Three grievously injured

Kumble: A teenager from Bengaluru, who had come to his friend’s house here to enjoy the Navaratri celebration lost his life in a bike accident that occurred at Kumble. The accident also left three others seriously injured.

On Saturday evening, four persons were grievously injured after two bikes crashed into each other at Kumble market. Among the injured, Rajashekhar (17), a resident of Bengaluru and a student of a polytechnique there breathed his last at a hospital in Mangaluru on Sunday.

The other injured include Jitesh pursuing degree in Mangaluru, Peduvar Kadapura resident Habeeb and Asif have been admitted into a hospital in Mangaluru and are responding to the given treatment.

It is said that, Rajashekhar and Jitesh were friends and the prior had come over to the latter’s house located at Kumble to celebrate Navaratri festival. The deceased is the son of Raju-Shobha couple in Bengaluru.
