Kumble: Man, arrested in fraud case, tries to escape by jumping into river from moving train

Kumble: In a dramatic turn of events, a suspect, arrested in connection with a fraud case attempted to escape from the cops by jumping into a river from a moving train while he was being taken to the Aluva Court.
The suspect, Saneesh (40), a resident of Idukki, was being escorted by two police officers on the Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Ernad Express train to Aluva Court. When the train reached Shoranur Bharathapuzha Bridge, Saneesh requested to use the restroom. As officers loosened his handcuffs near the restroom, he broke free and leaped from the bridge into the river below.
Reacting quickly, the officers jumped into the river and successfully re-arrested him. Fortunately, the train had slowed down while crossing the bridge. Saneesh lost consciousness from the fall and was admitted to Thrissur Medical College Hospital for treatment.
