Kumble: The Kerala Police officials have nabbed the accused murderers of Abubakar Siddique (31). It can be noted that Siddique was murdered earlier this week.

The accused are Abdul Azeez (36) and Abdul Rahim (41), both residents of Udyavar in Manjeshwar. They were arrested by a team of police led by Kasargod DySP Balakrishnan Nair. The police have issued a lookout notice at all the airports to nab the accused who are missing.

The police have seized the cars used to kidnap Anwar, brother of Siddique and Ansari to Goa, assault the duo, and then admit them to the hospital. They have also recovered Rs 4.50 lakhs from the residence of one of the accused.

As per the investigation reports, it is also known that Siddique, who had come down from overseas, was taken by the accused murderers to a house located in a remote area of Paivalike. Later, he was tortured to death.

It is confirmed by the police sources that the reason for the murder was missing US dollars worth over Rs 40 lakhs, which were sent overseas.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Saxena has assured of arresting all the accused soon, based on credible information received.

Earlier, it was reported that Siddique, who was about to travel overseas, had received dollars worth over Rs 40 lakhs from a team of Uppala. He had assured the team to hand over the dollar to the concerned person, which was reportedly not handed over.
