Kundapur: A 42-year-old man died after his scooter collided with a stationary truck here on NH 66 near Tallur on Sunday, June 5.
The deceased has been identified as Sathish Jogi, a resident of Halageri Tenkabettu of Kambadakone village. Pillion rider Akash Jogi (17) sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Satish Jogi was traveling on his scooter when he crashed into a truck parked on the roadside. He died on the way to the hospital.
A case has been registered.
