Kundapur: A 56-year-old man was killed after his scooter was hit by a Swift car on national highway 66 at Navunda.
The deceased person is identified as Ismail (56), a resident of Navunda.
As per sources, the accident took place while Ismail was going to his house from the market area. Due to the impact of the accident Ismail was thrown to the road and died on the spot.
Ismail’s mortal remains were shifted to the mortuary at Kundapur government hospital.
A case with this regard has been registered in Byndoor police station.
