Kundapur: 9-yo killed after car rams into tree swing

Kundapur: A 9-year-old was killed in a freak accident while she was playing with her friends near her house at Beejadi here.

The deceased identified as Pradhanya was reportedly playing on a makeshift swing hanging from a tree on her house premises.

The mishap occurred when her relative Santhosh was leaving the house in his car. Santosh reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the swing. Pradhanya, who fell to the ground owing to the impact of the collision, suffered serious head injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
