Kundapur: Major fire at shop; Lakhs worth goods destroyed

Kundapur: A major fire broke out at a general store in Kundapur on Saturday, April 24. The inferno has destroyed goods worth Rs 4.5 lakhs to Rs 5 lakh

The shop owner Suresh Poojary had closed the shop at 10 am due to the Weekend curfew. Around 11 am, the fire erupted at the shop, by the time Suresh reached the spot, the shop was completely destroyed

Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire. A case has been registered at Kundapur police station
