Kundapur: Teacher, head teacher of govt school suspended over duty dereliction

Kundapur: A teacher of the government higher primary school Anagally has been placed under suspension after he was found to be absent from duty during the zonal education officer’s visit to the school.
There were complaints against the teacher, named Amparu Dinakara Shetty regarding his prolonged absence from the school which affected the student’s studies. In this backdrop, the zonal education officer visited the school and it was found that Shetty had not been reporting to duty for a long time and that he had not sought permission for the same.
The school head teacher Janardhana Patagar also was suspended as he did not bring this matter to the notice of the higher authorities.
