Kundapur: Unable to repay loan, man commits suicide

Kundapur: A 24-year-old man committed suicide on Thursday, December 30 at Haregodu of Hemmadi in Kundapur. He left a suicide note saying that he was under threat as he was unable to pay back a loan and the interest.

The deceased identified as Vignesh (24), son of Sanjeeva Devadiga, a resident of Haregodu Kolahitlu was working in a company at Bengaluru.

A year ago, he had opened a footwear showroom near Brahmavar and had taken a huge amount of loan on a mobile app. He incurred huge losses and could not repay the loan. On Thursday morning, he was found hanging near his house.

In his death note, Vignesh wrote that he is unable to repay the loan and is killing himself because he can’t bear the torture.

A case has been registered.
