Kundapura: 3 B’luru returnees COVID-19 +ve; Jadkal Katte sealed

Kollur: Three people who recently arrived from Bengaluru have tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Jadkal Katte near here has been sealed.

Five Jadkal residents had recently returned from Bengaluru. Three of the five tested positive for COVID-19. Their residence has now been sealed.

COVID-19 cases are steadily rising in the coastal districts of Karnataka. 45 new cases were reported in Udupi district on Sunday, July 5. In neighbouring Dakshina Kannada district, 147 new cases were detected on the same day.

The cumulative total COVID-19 cases in the district now stands at 1,234.
