Kundapura/Hassan: A couple who were coming from Bengaluru to the coastal town for a marriage ceremony suffered a tragedy.
The man, Prakash Shetty (43), a native of Ulturu in Kundapura, died after the tyre of the car he, his wife and their two children were travelling in burst.
Shetty’s wife was seriously injured in the incident while their children escaped from danger.
The incident occurred near Hassan.
The family was supposed to attend their niece’s wedding on February 21 at Kundapura.
