Kundapura: College student dies after being hit by tipper lorry at Koteshwara

Koteshwara: A college student was killed on the spot after being crushed under the wheels of a tipper truck at Katkeri on Koteshwara-Halady Road on Tuesday, October 1.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanush, a first-year B.Sc student at Kalavara Varadaraja M Shetty Government First Grade College, Koteshwara.

The accident occurred when Dhanush was walking along the footpath with his friends after college. A tipper truck struck him from behind, resulting in his immediate death.

A case regarding the incident has been registered at the Kundapura Traffic Police Station.
