Kundapura: Road repaired within 6 hours of minister’s orders

Kundapura: The repairing of the road near the flyover here was completed in less than six hours after it was ordered by Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
On the afternoon of Saturday, August 8, Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary was on his way from Kundapura to Mangaluru when protesters blocked his way near Basrur flyover protesting the road’s condition there.
The minister immediately called Udupi deputy commissioner’s office and ordered them to urgently repair the road.
In wake of the minister’s orders, the district administration quickly repaired the road. The minister’s concerns and the speed of work have brought praises to him by the locals.
