Kushtagi: Around 30 students hailing from Vanagera village of Kushtagi taluk, who had requested for bus facility to transport them to Talavagere Government Higher Primary School from their village, have not been fulfilled.
As per the request letter, students have said that the distance between the school and their village is 5 km and that there were no bus facilities on the interior roads, inspite of good road between their school and village.
They said that in the mornings there is a to and fro bus passing through the national highway of Kushtagi to Vanagera. But there isn’t any between Vanagera and their school at Talavagere.
The students had requested the same bus to travel between their school and village which would be of great help.
Meanwhile, the Taluk BJP Yuva Morcha President Umesh Yadav has alleged that the unit manager has not yet responded to their request.
He said that inspite of requesting a morning bus facility and that in the evening the students would manage by walking, there was no response from the unit manager.
