Kyarr cyclone: 5 fishermen from the coast rescued

Surathkal: The coast guard has rescued fishermen from the coast who got stuck in Kyarr cyclone after having left on a fishing expedition from Karwar.
The rescue operation was conducted by ICGS Amartya and all the fishermen were brought back to Karwar bunder. The fishermen were provided with food and medical facility as well.
Due to Kyarr cyclone, more than 500 fishing boats from Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have dropped anchor at Karwar bunder.
