Lady falls off bike, dies

Bengaluru: In a mishap, a 31-year-old lady riding the pillion alongside her husband was killed as a result of falling off the bike near Singsandra Junction on Hosur Road on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as, Lalitha, a resident of Koramangala. The accident took place when Lalitha and her husband Ram were heading home after work at around 7:30 pm.

The couple came to close Singsandra Junction when Ram lost control of the bike and Lalitha tumbled off the vehicle. She sustained extreme head injuries. She was taken to the hospital but died later. Ram escaped with minor injuries. A case has been registered at the Hulimavu police station.
