Mudigere: With heavy rains continuing to batter the Malnad region, a landslide occurred on Sunday at the eighth hairpin curve on the Charmadi Ghat.
Due to the landslide, trees from the hilly area had slid down the roads, resulting in traffic congestion for an hour.
Meanwhile, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and the forest officials have cleared the trees for smooth vehicular movement, reportedly.
