Mangaluru: Police have issued a lookout notice for lawyer K.S.N Rajesh who was accused of sexual harassment and threat.
A special team of senior officials has been formed to nab the accused. The notice was issued by the officials to ensure that Rajesh case does not flee the country.
According to the complaint, the student had joined Rajesh’s office at Karangalpadi for training on August 8. The advocate had coaxed the young girl to have sex with him on many occasions thereafter. On September 25, he called the intern into his chambers and tried to sexually exploit her, the FIR alleges.
Rajesh has been serving as a special government prosecutor in corruption cases registered in the Lokayukta for the past few years.
An audio clip of Rajesh and the student’s alleged phone call was also circulated on Social media.
However, Rajesh has denied all allegations.
Another student had also lodged a complaint against Rajesh. The complainant said that she was taken to the Urwa police station by a lady on the pretext of protecting her, and forced to write a letter of apology in the presence of Rajesh.
