Legal Notice Served to Movie Director Against His Proposed Movie on Gauri Lankesh

Bengaluru: Noted Kannada movie director, brother of late Gauri Lankesh, Indrajit Lankesh has served notice to AMR Ramesh, known for his realistic movies and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) to stop him from making a movie on the life and killing of Gauri Lankesh. A legal notice served through an advocate is aimed to prevent the director from making movie on the life and murder of Gauri Lankesh, sources said.  

Earlier, AMR Ramesh reportedly condemned the killing of Gauri Lankesh and said he has plans to make a movie on the life and murder of Gauri Lankesh. AMR Ramesh had directed Kannada movie, Attahasa, a film on the life of forest brigand Veerappan. His next movie is reportedly on the life and the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
