Leopard falls into a well while preying upon dogs

Bantwal: A leopard ended up in a well in its bid to prey upon domestic dogs of a house belonging to Monappa Bangera, a resident of Ballalbettu near Rayi of the taluk on the early morning of Monday, September 30.
The forest department officials have rushed to the spot and are in the process of rescuing the feline. Scores of curious onlookers have also gathered at the location.
The leopards have eaten many dogs and cattle in the areas of Daila, Amyalu, Kaithrodi and Badanadi in the five to six years, allege the locals.
