Let peace prevail during festivals: CM

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah asked the police to prevent any communal problems during the upcoming Ganesh Chathurthi and Bakrid.
CM on Monday held a meeting with top police officials and asked them to take necessary measures to prevent any communal problems during the festivities.
The CM also instructed all district administrations to identify anti-social and communal elements, track their movements and to take preventive measures if needed.
He asked them to hold peace meetings between the two communities as part of preparations for the festivals too.
ADGP-rank officers in-charge of districts should also visit their assigned districts to oversee preparations.
