Let’s wait and watch: DKShi on Geeta Shivarajkumar joining Congress

Bengaluru: Amid speculations that Geeta, wife of Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar joining Congress, KPCC President DK Shivakumar on Monday said, “Let’s wait and watch if she joins Congress.”
Earlier in the day, DK Shivakumar met actor Shivaraj Kumar at his residence in Sadashiva Nagar. Speaking to reporters following the meeting the KPCC president said “Shivaraj Kumar and I are close friends. His family is our country’s asset.”
Showing his affection towards Shivaraj Kumar’s family, DK Shi added, “We have great respect for his family and I have a personal rapport with them.”
He denied commenting on Geeta joining the Congress party stating that Madhu Bangarappa has the right to talk about it and if a situation arises Geeta Shivakumar will speak up for herself.”
Talking about the CD sex scandal, he will respond to the same after discussions with veteran party leaders.
