Light lamps on Sunday, heat will kill COVID-19 virus: Ramdas
Mysuru: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a video message said that people should light lamps or candles at 9 pm on April 5 to show their solidarity in the fight against COVID-19, BJP MLA S Ramdas said too urged people to light the lamps and said that Coronavirus is not heat resistant and it will die as the temperature increases.
Speaking after distributing candles and masks to people in Mysuru Ramdas said, “There is a reason behind why PM Modi asked us to light the candle, so I request everyone to light lamps.”
“Coronavirus is not heat resistant. It will die as the temperature increases, therefore light the lamp and kill the Coronavirus,” he added.
“This Sunday, on April 5, we must all, together, challenge the darkness spread by the corona crisis, introducing it to the power of light. On this date, we must awaken the superpower of 130 crore Indians. We must take the super resolve of 130 crore Indians to even greater heights,” Modi had said in his video address.
