Lightning claims one life in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: An unidentified youth lost his life after a lightning struck him while he was walking by the road near town hall on Tuesday.
Heavy rains and lightning lashed the city on Tuesday night.
It has been reported that, the youth was walking towards Mallya hospital when the lightning struck him. He collapsed and eventually breathed his last.
Meanwhile, a house in Bejai caught fire due to lightning. Fire service personnel and cops who rushed to the spot extinguished the fire.
