Bengaluru: In a tragic incident an LKG boy was killed on the spot after being run over by his own school bus.

The victim has been identified as Deekshit, 4, the only son of Manu and Suneeta couple.

On Monday afternoon, the bus is said to have arrived before time and dropped off Deekshit at his stop. The bus driver, however, did not notice Deekshit walking along the side of the road and ran the bus over him killing him on the spot.

Locals stopped the bus and summoned the police who arrested the bus driver Channappa.

Deekshit’s parents alleged that they had not been informed of the early arrival of the bus. Parents of other children studying at the school also said that they had complained about the rash driving of the driver to school authorities but was let off with just a warning.
