Bengaluru: Since the Congress and the JD(S) are expected to form an alliance for the local body elections, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa has instructed his party leaders to be cautious while selecting candidates for the local body elections.

There is a possibility of Congress-JD(S) joining hands especially in Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Mysuru, Davanagere, Chitradurga and Kodagu.

Yeddyurappa has reportedly told his party leaders to be careful while choosing our candidates and that they needed to change their election strategy.

“Those who came to power promising farm loan waiver, still are unable to clear issues related to it,” said BSY lashing out at the state government over farm loan waiver.
