Koppal: State agriculture Minister BC Patil on Saturday said although Covid-19 cases have been reduced in Bengaluru, several other districts are seeing a rise in Covid cases. Hence, lockdown should be extended for another week after May 24
Speaking to the reporters here, Patil said, “I will talk to the Chief Minister and request him to extend the lockdown for another week. I will soon talk to Police Superintendent and order strict action against Covid-19 violators in Koppal. Blaming by-elections for the rise in cases is wrong. They are both different.
“Also, I will talk about increasing oxygen supply to Koppal district with the officials and write a letter to the government,”
