Lokayukta police have conducted simultaneous raids on two government officials in Davanagere and Bidar on allegations of disproportionate assets.
Early on Wednesday, November 12, Lokayukta officers led by DYSP conducted raids on the residence and office of Ravindra Rotti, an official at the District Training Center in Bidar. Documents were seized as part of the investigation. Ravindra Rotti, previously serving as a Shirastedar in the Deputy Commissioner’s office, is now under scrutiny for potential unauthorized wealth accumulation.
In another operation, the Lokayukta team also conducted a raid on Tuesday, November 12, at the residence and office of Kamal Raj, Assistant Director at the District Department of Industry and Commerce. Led by SP M.S. Kaulapure, the raid took place at Kamal Raj’s residence in Shaktinagar, Third Cross, Davanagere. During the raid, Lokayukta officials reviewed multiple documents and inspected cash holdings as part of their ongoing investigation.
The Lokayukta police continue to examine seized records and cash from both locations. The simultaneous raids mark a focused effort to identify and curb the misuse of public office for personal gain.
